Swan Grid Villa is a villa design study in Al Khawaneej, the UAE by LKYOOB, an architecture and engineering company in Dubai. The images on this page are design visualisations, rendered from the studio's drawings before construction. They are not photographs of a finished building.

The brief runs to 12,400 sq ft of built-up area. Six bedrooms, a formal living room, a dining hall, a home gym, a private cinema, a rooftop pantry, a guard room, a powder room, staff accommodation and a laundry.

The street elevation stacks a white upper floor with vertical timber slats over a travertine ground floor, under a dark fascia and a deep timber soffit. Behind the entrance a courtyard holds an olive tree, and the garden side opens through full-height glazing to a terrace and lawn.

Inside, the family living room sits under a chandelier of hanging glass pieces, a stair of stone treads rises beside a slatted timber screen, and the entrance hall, the family dining room and the master bedroom follow one palette of pale stone, walnut and brass.
